Who we are?
- We are a group of teenagers from many different ethnic groups and walks of life who come together for the purpose of loving God and serving Him
Purpose
- Our purpose is to glorify God through evangelism, discipleship, ministry, worship and fellowship
Some of the great things that characterize the youth ministry of the First Baptist Lake Park include a strong missions focus to campuses in our community, mentoring relationships between our youth and adult leaders, an exciting midweek program that features games, video, worship and small groups, a weekly sports outreach ministry to our community, a praise band and praise dance ministry, an annual discipleship weekend, local ministry projects and mission trips, a variety of activities to promote the bonding of our youth group and an ongoing ministry to our parents of teens.
Weekly ministries
- Sun. 9:15am- Youth Bible study. Age graded classes for middle and high school
- Wed. 6pm- “614″ Midweek gathering based on Ephesians 6:14 that inspires and equips our youth to live in the power of the Spirit.
