Our Story

The First Baptist Church of Lake Park began as a mission work of the First Baptist of West Palm on October31, 1948. The first meeting was held at Town Hall with 48 people in attendance. In 1951, the first buildings were occupied at 625 Park Ave. Through the years, several times of expansion brought our current facilities to completion. September of 1970 brought the start of the Lake Park Baptist School as a ministry of the church. In 1995, the last property on Greenbriar was purchased, completing the church’s ownership of the block. For 63 years God has been blessing the Lake Park area through his people at First Baptist Lake Park. As we continue on in faith, we fully anticipate the best days are yet ahead for us as a church and school.
